Maritime Occupational Health Medical Clinic:
Every seafarer or offshore worker must undergo and pass a medical examination which classifies them as medically fit for sea-service or offshore service.
We comply with ILO No 73 (ILO 147), Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006, STCW Convention 2010 (1/9), P & I club Guidelines, FLAG-STATE Guidelines, OGUK Guidelines to assess Medical Fitness for sea-service or offshore service:
We are conducting a variety of physical examinations that are tailored to meet the unique needs of the organization, whether it is to determine employment suitability or help keep companies in compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
The purpose of medical examinations is to ensure that "the seafarer or offshore worker is free from any medical condition likely to be aggravated by service at sea or service at offshore rigs & platforms OR likely to render him unfit for such service OR to endanger the health of other seafarers working on board the ship or offshore rigs & platforms."
Our Maritime Occupational Health Medical Centers are fully equipped with most modern medical equipments & highly qualified experienced staff to meet your requirements. We have in house testing facilities to conduct all the required complete medical examinations in our medical centers.
We handle most of the medical problems aboard the ship in our local service area & also we provide e-medical advice to ships. We provide a broad range of inpatient hospitalization facilities ranging from simple procedures to complex surgeries. We have regular tie-up with good standard hospitals in Mumbai. We have highly reputed & senior specialist doctors on our panel who attend to all medical emergencies at any given time. We can assist Coast Guard Evacuation in case of distress call in our local operational area.
